This 1U rackmount server ships with an Intel Xeon E-2124 4-core processor running at 3.3 GHz with 4.5 GHz turbo. It includes 16 GB of DDR4-2666 ECC memory and a MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB cache. Four hot-swap 3.5-inch trays accept SATA or SAS drives. Dual 500 W 80 Plus Platinum power supplies provide redundancy.

Check power, rails and memory limits

Verify that your rack supplies the correct voltage for dual 500 W platinum units and that you have 1U of vertical space. The system uses an LGA 1151 socket and supports up to 128 GB of ECC DDR4 across four DIMM slots. Front bezel and rack-mount rails are not included and must be sourced separately. Expansion slots include one PCIe 3.0 x16 or two x8 plus one x4 in x8 form factor.

Suits dense compute and storage nodes

This configuration fits environments needing redundant power, hardware RAID and remote management via IPMI 2.0 with KVM-over-LAN. It is not suited for workloads requiring GPU acceleration, more than four 3.5-inch drives, or processors beyond the Xeon E-2100 and E-2200 families. Buyers needing included rails or a front bezel should plan extra procurement.
