The Delta AFC0912D-PWM is a 92 mm case fan rated for 12 VDC operation with a 4-pin PWM connector. It spins between 4500 and 4999 RPM and delivers more than 80 CFM airflow at a noise level above 50 dBA. The dual ball bearing is rated for 70,000 hours at 40 °C. The unit measures 92 x 92 x 25 mm and has a maximum static pressure of 13.35 mmH2O.
PWM control and monitoring
The four-wire PWM interface lets the fan balance noise and cooling automatically based on system load. A speed sensor output provides real-time RPM monitoring through the motherboard. Over-current shutdown protects the motor if the rotor locks, and polarity protection prevents damage from reversed power leads. The fan also runs on a 3-pin header, though PWM control is lost.
