Compact 1U rackmount NAS for edge

The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage system built for edge deployments, branch offices, and remote business workloads. It uses a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor running at 2.2 GHz with eight threads. The unit ships fully assembled and tested with 32GB of DDR4 memory, 1.6TB of enterprise cache on two 800GB drives, and four 16TB Synology Plus NAS drives for 64TB of raw capacity.

Operating range 0 to 35 °C

The chassis operates from 0°C to 35°C at 5 to 95% relative humidity and accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. Redundant power supplies protect uptime if one module fails. Four integrated 1GbE RJ-45 ports support link aggregation for higher throughput, load balancing, and automatic network failover during normal use.

Expansion via RX426 and PCIe Gen3 slot

One Synology RX426 expansion unit can be connected to double the bay count to eight and raise raw capacity to 192TB with supported 24TB drives. A PCIe Gen3 slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE network adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter, or a combined M.2 and 10GbE adapter. The system does not suit buyers who need more than eight drive bays or native 10GbE ports without an add-in card.
