USB 1.0 wired fallback limits

A wired USB 1.0 connection is available but caps data throughput at low-speed rates, so high-polling applications will not benefit. The single nano receiver occupies one port and sits near the mouse battery compartment, not the keyboard. No Bluetooth or newer wireless standards are present, so environments that block 2.4 GHz signals will require the wired link.
