PCI-E 3.0 4.0 Adapter for Enterprise SSDs

This adapter connects SFF-8654 Slimline SAS cards to U.2 NVMe SSDs using a 50cm cable. It supports PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 x4 links for enterprise storage devices. The package includes one card and one cable for mainboard installation. It is built for NVMe drives only and will not work with SAS or SATA disks.

Fits Mainboard U.2 SSD 750 Slots

The card plugs into a mainboard SFF-8654 interface and routes four PCIe lanes to a U.2 drive via the included cable. It frees up standard PCIe slots by using the dedicated Slimline connector instead. No separate power connection is required beyond the slot and drive. Windows 10 or later is needed for driver support.

The adapter delivers full x4 bandwidth for compatible U.2 NVMe SSDs under PCIe 3.0 or 4.0. It runs out of headroom when a drive demands more than four lanes or a different protocol. Builders needing SAS or SATA connectivity must choose a different solution. The 50cm cable length sets the maximum drive placement distance.
