This aluminium heatsink is built specifically for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It matches the module’s dimensions and mounting holes for a secure fit. The design includes a notch that clears the antenna section so wireless performance is not blocked. It is intended for builders adding passive cooling to a CM4-based project.

Passive cooling for CM4 workloads

The heatsink provides fast heat dissipation for the CM4 processor under typical embedded loads. It handles sustained compute tasks such as edge inference, media playback or headless server duties without active airflow. It will run out of thermal headroom in sealed enclosures with high continuous power draw or when the ambient temperature is already elevated.

Silent operation with no power draw

As a purely passive component it adds zero noise and consumes no electricity. The corrosion-resistant aluminium finish maintains thermal performance over time. Normal use sees the heatsink warm to the touch under load while keeping the CM4 within its operating envelope. No fan headers, cables or software configuration are required.
