PCIe x1 NVMe adapter for desktops

This adapter lets you install an M.2 M-key NVMe SSD into any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot on a desktop motherboard. It targets users who need extra NVMe storage but lack a native M.2 slot. The card operates at PCIe 3.0 x1 speeds, so throughput is limited to a single lane. No drivers are required and it works with all major operating systems.

Gold-plated connector

The card uses a gold-plated PCIe interface for better conductivity and wear resistance. Two imported solid capacitors provide stable external power delivery to the SSD. Copper mounting studs are removable, allowing the board to accept 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form-factor drives. Only M-key NVMe SSDs are supported; M.2 SATA B-key drives will not function in this adapter.

Adds NVMe storage where no M.2 slot exists

This card upgrades a system that has free PCIe expansion slots but no M.2 connector for NVMe drives. It is not suited for users who need full x4 NVMe bandwidth or who want to boot from the drive on older BIOSes without NVMe boot support. Builders requiring multiple high-speed drives should consider a platform with native M.2 lanes instead.
