Standalone multi-media duplicator

The Acumen Disc CrossOver BD AD07-MMPBD copies data between flash memory cards, USB drives and optical discs without a host computer. It reads from CompactFlash, Secure Digital, Memory Stick or USB sources and writes to up to seven CD, DVD or Blu-ray targets simultaneously. The unit also supports flash-to-flash and disc-to-flash workflows for archive or distribution tasks.

Thermal and power profile

The duplicator runs as a self-contained tower with an integrated controller and seven writer drives. No external software or PC connection is required, so power draw is limited to the internal power supply and drive motors during copy operations. A 20 x 2 character LCD reports status and progress while the machine runs quietly in an office or lab environment.

7-target Blu-ray write speed

Blu-ray Recordable discs write at 16X and dual-layer BD-R at 8X, while DVD+R reaches 24X and CD-R peaks at 52X. The single reader handles source discs or flash media at up to 33 MB/s. Buyers who need more than seven simultaneous disc targets or faster Blu-ray write rates should consider a higher-capacity production duplicator.

Vragen over dit artikel

How do I set up the AD07-MMPBD for disc-to-disc copying, and what step do people miss?

Insert the source disc into the single reader drive and blank discs into the seven writer drives, then select the copy mode on the 20 x 2 LCD. The step users often skip is verifying that the source disc is finalised and error-free before starting the 1-to-7 duplication run.

Which parts of the duplicator will need replacement after heavy use?

The seven BD-R writers rated at 16X and the single source reader are the mechanical components that wear first. Optical pickups and tray-loading mechanisms typically require service after extended high-volume cycles, while the flash-memory card slots and USB port see less physical stress.

What speed limit appears first during a long Blu-Ray duplication session?

The 33 MB/s data transfer rate caps sustained throughput. Even though the writers support 16X BD-R, the controller cannot feed data faster than 33 MB/s, so that bus bandwidth becomes the bottleneck during continuous 1-to-7 Blu-Ray copying.
