The ankmax UC4M2 is a new USB 4 Type-C enclosure that accepts a single M.2 2280 NVMe SSD up to 8 TB. It uses a dual-chip controller to deliver up to 40 Gbps bandwidth and works with Windows, macOS and Linux without drivers.

Suits users with NVMe M.2 2280 drives only

This enclosure fits M-key or B+M-key NVMe modules in the 2280 form factor. It cannot accept drives of other protocols, sizes or keying, so buyers with shorter modules or non-NVMe interfaces must choose a different solution.
