This double-conversion on-line UPS delivers 8000 VA and 8000 W of continuous power protection for servers, voice and data networks, medical labs and light industrial applications. It accepts a 208 V hard-wired three-wire input and provides seven battery-backed outlets including one hard-wired output, four NEMA L6-20R and two NEMA L6-30R receptacles. The 6U rackmountable chassis fits standard enclosures for dense deployments.

Network management and connectivity limits

Remote management is handled by an integrated Network Management Card with a 10/100 Base-T RJ-45 port, while local configuration uses a serial RJ-45, a USB port and an open Smart-Slot for optional accessories. The auto-sensing input frequency range covers 40 to 70 Hz, and output frequency is regulated to 50 or 60 Hz within a 3 Hz tolerance. Surge energy absorption is rated at 480 joules.

Battery recharge and replacement cycle

The internal battery cartridge recharges in 1.5 hours and is user-replaceable with the APCRBC140 kit, allowing runtime restoration without removing the UPS from the rack. Audible and visible alarms prioritise fault severity so operators can react before autonomy is exhausted. Approvals include UL 1778, CSA C22.2 No.107.3-05, FCC Part 15 Class A, ENERGY STAR and NOM.
