AM4 Socket for Ryzen and A-Series APUs

The ASRock A320M-HDV R3.0 is a Micro ATX motherboard built around the AMD Promontory A320 chipset. It accepts AMD Socket AM4 processors including Ryzen Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge, Pinnacle Ridge and A-Series Bristol Ridge APUs. A 6 Power Phase design delivers stable power for CPUs up to 105W. The board targets budget builds and office upgrades that need reliable AM4 compatibility.

32GB DDR4 Dual Channel Capacity

Two 288pin DDR4 slots support up to 32GB of memory in dual channel mode. Ryzen Pinnacle Ridge and Summit Ridge CPUs run DDR4 at 3200+(OC), 2933(OC), 2667, 2400 and 2133 speeds with ECC and non-ECC un-buffered modules. Raven Ridge supports the same frequencies without ECC unless a PRO CPU is used. A-Series APUs are limited to 2400 and 2133 non-ECC. The 32GB ceiling suits mainstream workloads; heavier multitasking or content creation will hit this limit.

PCIe 3.0 x16, Ultra M.2 and Four SATA3 Ports

The primary PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot runs at x16 with Summit Ridge and Pinnacle Ridge CPUs and at x8 with Raven Ridge APUs. A second PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot adds basic expansion. One Ultra M.2 socket accepts 2242, 2260 or 2280 M Key modules, delivering PCIe Gen3 x4 (32Gb/s) with Ryzen CPUs or Gen3 x2 (16Gb/s) with A-Series APUs, plus SATA3 6.0Gb/s support. Four SATA3 6.0Gb/s connectors provide RAID 0, 1 and 10 along with NCQ and Hot Plug. Realtek RTL8111GR LAN tops out at 1Gbps, and Realtek ALC887 audio outputs 7.1 channels.
