It targets builders who want a small desktop foundation without a discrete graphics card. Buyers needing higher CPU power limits or a dedicated GPU slot should look elsewhere.

DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM ceiling and M.2 lane limits

Two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots support dual-channel DDR4 at 3200 MT/s with a 64 GB maximum. Storage uses one PCIe Gen5 x4 M.2 2280 slot, one PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 2280 slot and two SATA 6 Gb/s bays for 2.5-inch drives. The Key E 2230 slot is reserved for wireless modules, so it cannot host a third SSD.

Tool-less chassis with a few fitment traps

The 155 x 155 x 80 mm case opens without tools for CPU, memory and drive installation. The 65 W CPU limit restricts cooler choice to low-profile designs that fit the 80 mm height.
