This ESTONE PCIE24USBA expansion card adds four USB-A 3.0 ports to a desktop PC through a single PCI Express x1 slot. It draws power from the 12 V PCIe bus so no extra power cable is required. Each port can deliver up to 2 A, giving 8 A total for high-draw peripherals such as industrial cameras, VR systems or NVME enclosures. The card uses a NEC chipset and shares the x1 lane bandwidth across all four ports.

Suited for Windows desktops needing more USB

The card works with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 on 32-bit and 64-bit editions, plus Windows Server 2012 through 2019. Windows XP and Vista require the driver from the included mini-CD. Mac OS and Linux are not supported, so buyers who need those platforms should look at something else. It fits any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and ships with a standard 12 cm bracket for ATX cases.

Bandwidth and power scale with the slot generation

In a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot the four ports share 8 Gbps of total bandwidth; in a PCIe 2.0 x1 slot they share 4 Gbps. Under sustained multi-device transfers the aggregate throughput will not exceed the lane limit, so performance is capped by the host slot rather than the individual 5 Gbps USB 3.0 PHY. The onboard self-powered design maintains stable voltage regulation across all ports during continuous heavy loads without requiring an external power connector.
