Workstation DDR5 RDIMM kit
This G.SKILL G5 Series kit provides 128GB across eight 16GB DDR5 RDIMM modules. It targets professionals building Intel Xeon W-3400X workstations on W790 motherboards with eight-channel support. Registered operation and on-die plus side-band ECC protect data integrity in memory-intensive workloads.
Replaces standard JEDEC memory
The kit upgrades from baseline DDR5 speeds to DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) with CL32-39-39-102 timings at 1.40V via Intel XMP 3.0. The jump is worthwhile when your W790 platform can run the XMP profile and your applications benefit from the extra bandwidth over standard registered DIMMs.
Sustained-load behaviour
Hand-screened ICs and individual module testing aim to keep the rated frequency and timings stable during extended rendering or compute sessions. A dedicated temperature sensor on each DIMM allows the platform to monitor thermal status under continuous load. No heat spreaders are fitted, so chassis airflow must handle the 1.40V operating voltage.
