Single-socket EPYC ATX server board

The MZ01-CE0 is a new ATX motherboard built for one AMD EPYC 7002 or 7003 series processor in Socket SP3. It targets builders who need enterprise compute density in a standard chassis footprint rather than a proprietary rackmount tray. Eight DDR4 channels feed up to eight DIMM slots, and the board delivers four full-length PCIe 3.0 x16 slots plus one x8 slot for accelerator or networking cards.

8-channel DDR4 with 128 GB LRDIMM ceiling

Memory runs at 2666, 2400 or 2133 MT/s across eight channels, accepting RDIMMs up to 64 GB each or LRDIMMs up to 128 GB each for a theoretical maximum of 1 TB per processor. Four SlimSAS connectors break out to sixteen SATA 6 Gb/s ports, while a single M.2 M-key slot wired for PCIe 3.0 x4 accepts 2242 through 22110 form-factor drives. The Aspeed AST2500 provides basic VGA output for headless management.

Dual 10 GbE and dedicated management LAN

Networking comprises two Intel X550-AT2 10 Gb/s BASE-T ports, two Intel I210-AT 1 Gb/s ports and a separate 10/100/1000 management interface, all on RJ45. Two USB 3.0 headers and a VGA port complete the rear I/O. This board suits migrations from older single-socket SP3 platforms that lack 10 GbE or sufficient PCIe lane count; it does not address workloads requiring dual-socket memory interleaving or PCIe 4.0 endpoint speeds.
