Dual 500 W Flex Slot power supplies share the load and provide redundancy for the two 14-core Xeon E5-2690 v4 processors running at 2.6 GHz. The 8SFF airflow design moves air front-to-rear across the CPU heatsinks and memory modules under typical datacentre conditions. Acoustic output is managed by fan curves that respond to inlet temperature and component utilisation.

Build quality and connectivity

The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch SAS drives served by the Smart Array P440 controller with RAID capability.
