The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack server built around two Intel Xeon Silver 4410y processors. Each CPU provides 12 cores at 2.00 GHz with a 30 MB cache and can reach 3.90 GHz under turbo. The system ships with 512 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory across eight 64 GB modules. It is aimed at organisations running database applications and virtualised workloads that demand dense compute in a single rack unit.

Half-height PCIe Gen5 slots and hot-swap bays

The chassis offers half-height PCIe Gen5 expansion slots and four 2.5-inch hot-swappable drive bays. Storage is handled by an MR408i-o Gen11 controller with 4 GB cache and four 1.92 TB enterprise SAS SSDs delivering 7.68 TB total capacity. Dual redundant power supplies keep the platform running during a module swap. Remote management is provided by integrated iLO 6 with Intelligent Provisioning, and networking uses an embedded four-port 1 GbE OCP3 adapter. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before deployment.

Sustained virtualised workloads with redundant power

Under continuous load the dual 12-core processors maintain elevated frequencies while the DDR5-4800 memory subsystem feeds data with ECC protection. The MR408i-o controller manages the SAS SSD array with its 4 GB cache to smooth write bursts during database commits and VM migrations. Redundant power supplies and hot-swap drive bays allow component replacement without downtime. iLO 6 provides out-of-band monitoring and firmware updates so administrators can maintain health remotely during extended production runs.
