16 DDR3 slots define capacity

Sixteen DDR3 DIMM slots support registered ECC, non-ECC or standard ECC modules at 1866, 1600, 1333 or 1066 MHz. Dual-channel architecture means memory must be populated in matched pairs per processor to reach rated bandwidth. Maximum supported capacity is 16 x 32 GB.
