Fits mSATA slots and frees 2.5-inch bays
The module installs directly into an mSATA connector on the motherboard or an adapter card, leaving any 2.5-inch drive bay available for additional storage. SATA III interface provides broad compatibility with existing chipsets. Low active power of 350 mW reduces demand on the system power budget. No cables are required beyond the slot itself.
Runs 0 °C to 70 °C with minimal heat and noise
Idle power is 275 mW and active power 350 mW, so the drive adds little thermal load inside a tight chassis. With no moving parts it produces no audible noise during operation.
