The KingSpec NXM-512 is a 512GB internal solid-state drive built on 3D NAND flash. It uses the M.2 2242 form factor and a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface with NVMe 1.3 compliance. The drive targets users upgrading ultrabooks, laptops, desktops or all-in-one PCs where a short M.2 slot is the only storage option.

Build integration and system impact

The 42.0mm length fits tight M.2 2242 slots in thin devices and leaves larger bays free for secondary drives. A PCIe 3.0 x4 motherboard key and NVMe 1.3 support are required.
