PoE HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 and CM5

The LORDWORLD PoE HAT (H) is an IEEE 802.3af/at compliant add-on board that powers a Raspberry Pi 5 or Compute Module 5 through a single Ethernet cable. It targets makers, IoT developers and robotics builders who want to reduce cable clutter in deployments where PoE infrastructure already exists. The board draws power from compatible switches or injectors and converts it locally for the host device.

Sustained 5 V 5 A delivery via isolated SMPS

An isolated switched-mode supply regulates the output to 5 V at up to 5 A, maintaining stable voltage during continuous loads such as compute-intensive scripts or peripheral-heavy IoT workloads. The isolation barrier protects the Pi from ground-loop noise and voltage spikes on the Ethernet line. Thermal performance scales with the host board's own cooling solution rather than relying on active components on the HAT itself.

Plug-and-play 40-pin GPIO header

The standard 40-pin header aligns directly with the Pi 5 GPIO, allowing tool-free installation that seats inside the official Raspberry Pi 5 case and clears the official Active Cooler. No soldering or jumper configuration is required; the board is recognised automatically by the Pi firmware. Builds that use non-standard tall headers or third-party cases with reduced internal clearance may encounter mechanical interference.
