This kit pairs an MSI PRO B850M-A WiFi motherboard with a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD. The board provides an AM5 socket, four DDR5 slots and dual-channel support up to 256GB.
Straightforward M.2 fit
The included 2280 drive drops into the CPU-linked M.2 slot and is held by a single screw, so no cables or brackets are required. Its single-sided layout clears most CPU coolers and leaves the second M.2 slot free for future expansion. The only common snag is forgetting to enable the NVMe device in BIOS before cloning an existing OS drive.
1 TB of Gen4 headroom
Sequential reads up to 5000 MB/s give snappy boot and app launch times for gaming and everyday workloads. The primary M.2 slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 with Ryzen 9000 or 7000 CPUs and at PCIe 4.0 x4 with Ryzen 8000 CPUs, while the second slot stays at PCIe 4.0 x4 regardless of processor. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports remain available for bulk storage when the 1 TB NVMe volume fills.
