Z690 ATX motherboard for 12th and 13th Gen Intel

The MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI uses the LGA 1700 socket and Intel Z690 chipset to support 12th Gen Intel Core processors and 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processors. A BIOS update may be needed before a 13th Gen CPU will boot. Four 288-pin slots accept DDR5 memory up to 192 GB in dual-channel mode.

Four M.2 slots and six SATA ports for storage

The board provides four M.2 Key M slots: M2_1 runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 from the CPU and takes 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 devices, while M2_2 runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 from the chipset and takes 2242, 2260 and 2280 devices. Six SATA 6Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. A single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot handle add-in cards.

Extended heatsinks and M.2 Shield Frozr

Premium thermal solution combines an extended heatsink design with M.2 Shield Frozr to keep the VRM and M.2 drives cool during non-stop work. Realtek ALC4080 delivers 7.1-channel audio. Intel I225-V 2.5G LAN and Intel Wi-Fi provide a stable wired and wireless link. A built-in USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port reaches 20 Gbps for fast external transfers.
