128GB DDR5 4800 ECC RDIMM kit

This 128GB kit contains eight 16GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMMs with ECC and a CAS latency of CL40. It is built for Supermicro servers such as the SSG-521E-E1CR24H, SSG-521E-E1CR24L and X13SEDW-F platforms. The modules run at 1.1V and use 1Rx8 organisation. They are intended for IT professionals who need validated, high-capacity memory for mission-critical workloads.

Sustained-load behaviour

Registered buffering and on-die ECC keep data integrity stable during continuous server operation. The 1.1V operating voltage helps limit thermal output when all eight slots are populated under heavy throughput. Modules are stress-tested under load before shipping to verify reliability in 24/7 environments. The 1Rx8 layout supports consistent bandwidth across multi-channel configurations.

DDR5 4800 interface limits

The DDR5 4800 standard caps transfer rates at PC5-38400, so this kit cannot exceed that bandwidth ceiling. CL40 latency is fixed by the JEDEC base specification for this speed grade. Registered DIMMs add one clock cycle of command delay compared with unbuffered modules. The 288-pin form factor fits only DDR5 RDIMM slots and is not compatible with UDIMM or earlier DDR generations.
