Supermicro H14SHM memory kit

This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB DDR5 RDIMM modules built for the Supermicro H14SHM motherboard. Registered ECC architecture and a 1.1 V operating voltage match the board's memory controller requirements exactly. The modules run at DDR5 6400 with CL52 latency and a 1Rx8 rank layout. Each stick uses a 288 pin form factor and major OEM DRAM chips for enterprise stability.

Upgrading from lower capacity or speed

Replacing smaller DDR5 RDIMM kits or slower DDR5 modules lets the server populate every slot at full rated frequency. The jump is worthwhile when workloads need maximum registered capacity and on-the-fly error correction without downclocking. Systems already running DDR5 6400 RDIMMs at CL52 will not see a speed increase from this kit.

Build integration details

The RDIMM form factor fits only motherboards that accept registered 288 pin DDR5 memory, so the H14SHM memory population rules must be followed. No heat spreader is present, leaving clearance for dense DIMM arrangements and standard server airflow. ECC and registered buffering free the memory controller from signal loading when all slots are occupied.
