This pink Orico enclosure accepts a single M.2 drive up to 4TB in either NVMe or SATA protocol. The tool-free slide tray and USB-C connection make it a simple way to turn an internal stick drive into external storage for laptops, desktops, consoles or Type-C phones. No external power is required.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 Speed Limits

With an NVMe drive the enclosure runs at 10Gbps and delivers up to 1000MB/s read and write. With a SATA drive the link drops to 5Gbps and tops out at 450MB/s. The aluminium shell acts as a heatsink but there is no fan, so sustained heavy writes on a fast NVMe drive may throttle.
