The Rosewill RSV-Z3100U is a 3U server chassis built for ATX, E-ATX and Mini ITX motherboards. It provides six internal 3.5-inch drive bays and four expansion slots in a 1.0mm SGCC frame. Front-panel LEDs show power, HDD activity and LAN status, while two USB 3.0 ports give quick external access.

Storage capacity and expansion limits

Six 3.5-inch bays support a dense array of hard drives for bulk storage or RAID arrays. Four low-profile expansion slots accept cards up to 150 mm long, and the PS2 power supply cavity is limited to 150 mm depth. CPU cooler clearance tops out at 110 mm, so taller tower coolers will not fit.

Cooling, noise and power profile

Two pre-installed 80 mm front fans push air across the drive bays and motherboard in a front-to-rear flow. The fan size and fixed mounting keep acoustic output modest under typical server loads.
