24-Bay 4U Rackmount Server Chassis

This 4U rackmount chassis holds twenty-four front-access 3.5-inch drives and three internal 2.5-inch drives. It accepts standard motherboards up to twelve by thirteen inches. The unit is built from 1.0-millimetre SGCC steel with a fingerprint-resistant finish and measures six hundred fifty millimetres deep by four hundred thirty-seven point five millimetres wide by one hundred seventy-six millimetres high.

The twenty-four hot-swap bays suit storage clusters, backup appliances and media servers that need maximum capacity in a single rack unit. Builds requiring a smaller footprint, tower orientation or fewer than twenty-four front bays should consider a different form factor.

6 Gb/s SAS backplane with SFF-8087 connectors

The backplane provides six-gigabit SAS connectivity through mini-SAS SFF-8087 ports and includes temperature monitoring with SGPIO signalling. Each drive tray uses an anti-EMI design with a light-guide column for status indication and slides on rails for smooth insertion and removal.
