Dual Xeon 1U server for dense compute

The Supermicro SYS-6018U-TR4T+ is a 1U rackmount server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2697 v4 processors, each running 18 cores at 2.3 GHz with a 3.6 GHz turbo. It ships with 256 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 24 DIMM slots. The platform targets virtualisation, HPC and cloud workloads that demand high core counts in a single rack unit.

Check power, rails and drive count before ordering

The system includes two 750 W platinum redundant hot-swap power supplies and requires suitable PDU connectors. Front bezel and rack-mount rails are not included, so verify cabinet depth and rail kit compatibility. Only four 3.5-inch hot-plug trays are supplied; the chassis supports up to ten 2.5-inch bays, but additional trays and drives must be sourced separately.

Adds quad 10GBase-T and hardware RAID to a rack row

A MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB cache and battery backs RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SATA or SAS drives. The AOC-UR-i4XT card provides four RJ45 10GBase-T ports via Intel X540, while a dedicated RJ45 IPMI 2.0 port enables KVM-over-LAN and virtual media. The Matrox G200 GPU handles basic video output for management tasks.
