It runs on a 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen V1500B four-core processor with eight threads and ships with 16GB DDR4 ECC memory. Four drive bays hold 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs and the unit arrives fully assembled with 24TB of Synology Plus drives and 800GB enterprise cache.

Under Synology test conditions the system delivers more than 2,000 MB/s sequential read and 1,300 MB/s sequential write performance. Four integrated 1GbE RJ-45 ports support Link Aggregation for network load balancing and automatic failover during continuous operation.
