Switched 1U PDU for 120V Racks

The Tripp Lite PDUMH20NET is a 1U rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 120V output through sixteen NEMA 5-15/20R outlets. It accepts a NEMA L5-20P plug with an included 5-20P adapter and a twelve foot cord. Network management via HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP and other protocols lets administrators control each outlet remotely. The unit is tested to UL 60950-1 and RoHS compliant.

Sustained 20A Load With Digital Metering

A digital current meter on the front panel shows total output consumption in amps while sixteen LEDs indicate the on or off state of every outlet. The PDU is rated for a maximum input current of 20A at 120V, so the metered readout helps operators keep continuous draw within that limit. Remote switching allows non-essential loads to be shed before a circuit breaker trips. The steel chassis mounts in a standard 1U space and weighs 16.70 lbs.

Hard Limits of the NEMA 5-15/20R Interface

Each of the sixteen output receptacles follows the NEMA 5-15/20R standard, which caps voltage at 120V and frequency at 60 Hz. The input side uses a locking NEMA L5-20P connector rated for 20A, and the twelve foot cord fixes the maximum distance from the branch circuit. No outlet can exceed the 20A aggregate rating, and the 1U height of 1.8 inches constrains vertical density in the rack. Devices requiring other voltages, higher per-outlet current or different plug types cannot connect directly.
