The Allied Telesyn AT-GS910/5-10 is a five-port Gigabit Ethernet switch in a desktop form factor. It provides unmanaged Layer 2 connectivity for small networks using twisted-pair cabling. No uplink, modular or stacking ports are included. The unit is wall-mountable and ships new.

10/100/1000Base-T capacity

Each of the five ports auto-negotiates 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps speeds over copper twisted pair. The switch handles simultaneous Gigabit links on all ports for local file transfers and streaming. It runs out of headroom when more than five wired devices need connection or when uplink aggregation is required. No redundant power supply is supported.

Unmanaged Layer 2 limits

The switch operates purely as an unmanaged Layer 2 device with no configuration interface. It cannot segment traffic with VLANs, prioritise streams with QoS or provide link redundancy protocols.
