Specialised CPU Water Block

The Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora PRO is a CPU water cooler engineered for processors with exceptionally large dies such as AMD Threadripper models and Intel LGA 2066 and LGA 3647 narrow ILM sockets. It targets workstation and server builders who need direct-die cooling for high-core-count CPUs rather than mainstream desktop platforms. Integrated digital aRGB illumination provides addressable lighting effects across the transparent top. The unit ships as a single block without radiator, pump or tubing included.

Nickel-Plated Copper Base With G1/4 Ports

The cold plate is machined from nickel-plated copper measuring 42 x 58.6 mm and carries 147 micro-fins each 0.2 mm thick, a substantial increase over the 81 fins found on standard XPX Aurora blocks. This fin density maximises surface contact with oversized heat spreaders. Standard G1/4 threaded ports allow straightforward integration into any custom loop using common fittings and tubing. The black Plexi top gives clear visibility of the coolant flow and the aRGB LEDs embedded around the perimeter.

High Fin Density For Demanding Thermal Loads

The 147-fin array and copper construction are designed to dissipate the concentrated heat output of large-die server and HEDT processors under sustained workloads. Thermal performance scales with the pump speed and radiator capacity chosen by the builder, so the block itself imposes no fixed acoustic profile. Power draw is limited to the aRGB lighting circuit, which connects to a standard 5 V 3-pin header on the motherboard or controller. The block adds negligible restriction to a properly balanced custom loop.
