Targeted upgrade for Lenovo ThinkCentre M93p

This 8GB DDR3 module is built specifically for the ThinkCentre M93p SFF Pro and Mini Tower. It uses a 240-pin DIMM form factor and runs at 1600MHz with CL11 timing at 1.5V. The unbuffered non-ECC design matches the desktop platform exactly.

Replaces slower DDR3 or fills empty slots

Installing this module upgrades systems running at lower DDR3 speeds or expands capacity beyond the factory configuration. The jump is worth it when the board supports 1600MHz operation and the operating system is 64-bit so the full 8GB is addressable. Modules must be ordered and installed in pairs to enable dual-channel mode.

Limited by DDR3 platform ceiling

The DDR3 interface caps transfer rates at 12800 MB/s and the M93p firmware restricts maximum memory per socket to 4GB despite this 8GB stick being offered. If a 4GB module is installed the recognised amount may drop to 3.5GB or less depending on configuration. Total system memory cannot exceed 32GB across the four slots.
