It ships with 64GB of DDR4 memory across 24 DIMM slots and a Perc H730 RAID controller with 2GB cache. Dual 750W hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation.

Eight 2.5-inch hot-plug drive bays

The chassis accepts up to eight SAS or SATA drives, each up to 14TB, connected to the H730 controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. No drives or trays are included, so buyers must supply their own storage. The memory ceiling is 64GB with the installed configuration, though the platform supports up to 1536GB when fully populated.

Ready for dense compute clusters

Four onboard 1GbE ports handle baseline networking, with optional 10GbE daughter cards available for higher throughput. Three PCIe 3.0 slots plus a dedicated PERC slot allow add-in cards such as additional NICs or accelerators. iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller gives remote management out of the box.
