Two Intel Xeon Platinum 8160 processors deliver 48 cores at 2.10GHz, giving the multi-threaded throughput needed to run many virtual machines or containerised services simultaneously.

H740P Controller and 2.5-Inch Bays

An integrated H740P storage controller manages the ten front-accessible 2.5-inch drive bays, eight of which are NVMe capable for faster storage tiers. The dual-socket LGA3647 design uses both CPU sockets, leaving no room for additional processors but freeing PCIe lanes for network or accelerator cards the builder may add.
