The PERC H730P controller handles RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with a 2 GB cache and battery backup.

Verify power, network and drive readiness

Confirm the rack can supply dual 1100 W redundant hot-swap power connections and that 2U of vertical space is available. The network daughter card provides two 1 GbE ports and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports, so matching transceivers and cabling must be on hand. Twenty-four 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drive trays are included but no drives are installed, so source compatible media before deployment.

Fits standard racks and frees PCIe slots

Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for quick mounting in standard four-post racks. iDRAC 9 Enterprise gives full remote management without a local console.
