The Dell PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rackmount server fitted with two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors, each running at 2.4 GHz with 16 cores. It ships with 768 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across 24 slots. The configuration targets organisations running virtualisation clusters, databases or analytics workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity in a standard rack footprint.

Front-access 2.5-inch bays with PERC H755 RAID

Twenty-four hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays sit behind a removable bezel, each populated with a 1.92 TB SATA SSD. The Dell PERC H755 controller provides 8 GB of battery-backed NV cache and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 10 GbE SFP+ ports on an OCP 3.0 card and iDRAC9 Enterprise give remote management and high-speed networking without consuming PCIe slots.

Dual 1400 W platinum supplies and redundant cooling

Two hot-swap 1400 W platinum-rated power supplies share the load and maintain operation if one unit fails. System fans are also redundant and adjust speed based on inlet temperature readings from iDRAC sensors. In typical workloads the power draw remains well within the supply capacity while acoustic output stays within data-centre norms for a 2U chassis.
