The Dell PowerEdge R740 is a 1U rack server equipped with two Intel Silver 4210R processors, each delivering 10 cores at 2.4 GHz. Eight 2.5-inch Bays and PCIe Gen 3 Expansion

The chassis provides eight 2.5-inch drive bays, of which two are populated with 1.92 TB SAS read-intensive SSDs managed by an H730P RAID controller. Up to eight PCIe Gen 3 slots are available for additional network, storage or accelerator cards. Redundant 1100 W power supplies maintain uptime during a module failure.

iDRAC9 Enterprise and Ready-to-Rack Accessories

Integrated iDRAC9 Enterprise enables full remote management including virtual console and power control over the network. The package includes sliding rails, a front bezel without an LCD panel, and power cords so the unit can be installed immediately. An Intel X550 adapter supplies two 10 Gb RJ45 and two 1 Gb RJ45 Ethernet ports for flexible connectivity.
