The copper 1100 skived-fin heatsink and horizontal 80 mm blower fan target dense rack deployments where vertical clearance is fixed.

Upgrade from stock narrow-ILM heatsinks

Stock coolers supplied with narrow ILM Xeon processors often max out at lower TDPs and higher acoustic levels. The B3 replaces them when the workload sustains 165 W in a 1U form factor and the system can drive a 4-pin PWM fan.
