Mini PCIe to Dual USB 3.0 Adapter
This EN-Labs expansion card converts a Mini PCIe slot into a dual USB 3.0 internal header. It uses the NEC UPD720202 chipset to deliver theoretical speeds up to 5Gbps. The board targets embedded or micro systems that need extra high-speed USB connectivity.
Upgrade from USB 2.0 Headers
The adapter provides a 10 times bandwidth increase over USB 2.0 480Mbps links. It is worth the jump when external drives or peripherals saturate older headers. The card requires a free Mini PCIe slot and cannot function in an mSATA interface.
Build Integration Requirements
A Molex 4-pin (SP4) connector from the PSU supplies necessary 5V power because the Mini PCIe slot lacks it. The output uses a 20-pin USB 3.0 motherboard header, also referred to as 19-pin. Drivers support Windows XP through Windows 8 and Linux.

Pytania dotyczące tego produktu
Does the 20-pin USB 3.0 header fit a 19-pin motherboard connector?
Yes, the 20-pin header is compatible with the 19-pin USB 3.0 motherboard header; the pin-outs are identical.
How is the NEC UPD720202 card powered and what step is often missed?
Connect the included Molex 4-pin SP4 plug to the PSU; the mini PCIe slot itself does not supply 5 V power.
When will the CD driver be needed for the 720202 chipset?
The driver disc is required for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or Server 2003; Linux and newer Windows versions load drivers automatically.
