The HP ProLiant DL385 Gen10 is a 2U rack server equipped with two 16-core EPYC 7302 processors running at 3.0 GHz with a 3.3 GHz boost. It ships with 256 GB of DDR4 registered memory across eight 32 GB modules and 15.36 TB of SATA solid-state storage in an eight-bay chassis. The bundle includes a P408i-a RAID controller with 2 GB flash-backed write cache and a rail kit for rack mounting.

Sustained compute with 32 cores and large memory

Under continuous load the dual-socket configuration delivers 32 physical cores and 256 MB of combined L3 cache, allowing many virtual machines or containers to run in parallel without frequent context switching. The 2933 MHz DDR4 memory subsystem feeds all cores at rated speed, while the hardware RAID controller maintains consistent write throughput for database or logging workloads. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before the server enters production.

Redundant 800 W supplies and remote management

Dual 800 W redundant power supplies share the load and keep the system running if one unit fails, reducing the thermal spike that a single supply would create at full draw. The integrated iLO 5 remote management module provides out-of-band monitoring of temperatures, fan speeds and power consumption without adding host overhead. Fans scale with inlet temperature rather than spiking on short bursts, keeping acoustic output steady in a rack row.
