Installation Requires Memory and Drive Population

Hard drives and memory upgrades are supplied separately and not installed, so installation is required before deployment. The 16 DIMM slots and eight 2.5-inch drive bays must be populated with the included components. The embedded MR408i-o storage controller with 4 GB cache manages the SAS SSDs. Remote setup and monitoring are handled through iLO 6 with Intelligent Provisioning, which simplifies initial configuration over the network.

Verify Rack Space Power and OS Licensing

Confirm that your rack can accommodate a 1U server with the bundled rail kit and that redundant power supplies match your facility’s PDU connectors. The included Windows Server 2025 Standard licence covers 16 cores, so the 64-core CPU configuration exceeds the licensed core count and additional core licences will be needed. The four-port 1 GbE OCP3 adapter provides baseline connectivity; assess whether higher-speed networking modules are required for your workload.
