The Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2 is a compact business workstation built around the Intel Core Ultra 7 265 vPro processor. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory, a 2 TB SSD and NVIDIA RTX A1000 graphics with 8 GB GDDR6. Windows 11 Pro, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are included. The 300 W power supply fits inside the 7" x 1.5" x 7.2" chassis.

Upgrading from an older small-form-factor PC

This system replaces ageing desktops that lack modern CPU architecture, DDR5 bandwidth or professional graphics certification. The jump is worth it when applications demand ISV-certified drivers, ECC-capable memory headroom to 64 GB or the AI acceleration built into the Core Ultra 7 265 vPro. Buyers staying with integrated graphics or consumer GPUs will not gain the same driver stability.

Limits of the Tiny form factor

The 1.5-inch height restricts expansion to internal M.2 slots and low-profile I/O; full-height add-in cards cannot be installed. The 300 W supply caps total graphics power, so the RTX A1000 cannot be swapped for a higher-wattage card. Thermal headroom is sized for the factory configuration, limiting sustained all-core turbo. Users needing multiple GPUs or large storage arrays should choose a larger chassis.
