Capacity and fit

This kit delivers 16 GB of DDR4 ECC memory in two 8 GB SODIMM modules. It uses the 260-pin form factor required by many laptops, all-in-one PCs, small-form-factor desktops and NAS appliances. The modules run at 2666 MT/s with a CL19 latency at 1.20 V. They are unbuffered and carry ECC for data-integrity workloads.

Sustained operation

Without a heat spreader the modules rely on system airflow to manage temperature during prolonged use. ECC error correction continues to function across extended sessions, helping prevent silent data corruption in storage or compute tasks. The 1.20 V operating voltage keeps power draw modest under continuous load. Stability depends on the host platform maintaining adequate cooling for the memory slots.

Installation notes

The 260-pin SODIMM design fits the standard slot found in compatible laptops, AIOs, SFF systems and the ASUS Lockerstor NAS series. Insert each module at the correct angle until the side clips engage; no tools are required. Common issues include seating a module incompletely, which causes the system to recognise only half the capacity, or installing in a platform that does not support unbuffered ECC SODIMMs, resulting in a no-post condition.
