32GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM for ASRock servers

This 32GB DDR4 2400 registered DIMM adds ECC-protected capacity to compatible ASRock Rack EPYCD8-2T motherboards. It operates at 1.2V with CL17 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation across 288 pins. The module is built with major OEM DRAM and validated for server workloads.

Replaces non-ECC or lower-capacity DDR4 DIMMs

The jump is worth it when your platform requires registered ECC memory for data integrity and you need a single 32GB stick to populate a slot. Systems that only accept unbuffered non-ECC modules cannot use this DIMM. Buyers who need higher frequencies than 2400MT/s or lower latency than CL17 should look elsewhere.

Limited to DDR4 2400 registered ECC interface

The PC4-19200 standard caps transfer rate at 2400MT/s and requires a registered ECC memory controller. Platforms that support only unbuffered memory or a different DDR generation will not accept this module. Mixing with non-registered DIMMs or running at voltages other than 1.2V is not supported by the specification.
