ThinkMate DDR5 4800 server kit

This 384 GB kit contains six 64 GB DDR5 RDIMM modules rated at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency. It is built for ThinkMate TWX-XS8-24S4 and TWX-XS8-14S4 tower servers that require registered ECC memory. Each module operates at 1.1 V and uses a 2Rx4 organisation for high-density capacity.

Six 288-pin registered DIMMs

The modules install directly into the server's DDR5 RDIMM slots without additional hardware. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing all six slots to be populated simultaneously. ECC functionality detects and corrects single-bit errors to maintain data integrity in mission-critical workloads.

Low-voltage DDR5 operation

Running at 1.1 V, the kit draws less power per gigabyte than previous DDR generations while delivering 4800 MT/s throughput. The absence of heat spreaders relies on the server's directed airflow for cooling, so adequate chassis ventilation is required. Registered operation adds minimal latency overhead compared to unbuffered alternatives.
