This 768GB kit contains twelve 64GB DDR4 3200 registered ECC modules built for the THINKMATE SBGrid-CryoEM workstation. It targets IT teams and researchers who need maximum registered memory capacity in a validated configuration. The 4Rx4 organisation and CL22 latency suit workloads that prioritise capacity and error correction over low-latency gaming metrics.

12-module registered population

The kit fills twelve 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM slots with registered modules that present a controlled electrical load to the server memory controller. Registered buffering allows the workstation to address the full 768GB without signal-integrity issues that unbuffered DIMMs would create at this density. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow across the PCB must be provided by the system chassis.

Sustained 1.2V operation

At 1.20V the modules run within standard DDR4 voltage limits during continuous compute sessions such as cryo-EM reconstruction or large-scale simulation. ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors on the fly, preventing silent data corruption during multi-hour runs. CL22 timing remains stable across the full population because the registered interface isolates each rank from bus loading effects.
