Server-grade ECC RDIMM kit

This 512GB kit contains four 128GB DDR4 2933 CL21 registered DIMMs built for the PowerEdge C4140 with SkyLake CPUs. The modules are JEDEC-standard 288-pin ECC registered RDIMMs operating at 1.2V. They are designed for workstation and server platforms that require registered memory with error correction. This kit will not work in standard desktop computers or systems that use unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs.

Sustained enterprise workloads

Registered buffering and ECC correction maintain data integrity during continuous multi-threaded operation across all four modules. The 8Rx4 organisation and CL21 timing provide stable throughput at the rated 2933 MT/s without the signal degradation seen in unbuffered configurations under heavy load. Backward compatibility with 2133, 2400 and 2666 MT/s allows the kit to run reliably at lower speeds if the platform requires it.

128GB per module density

Each of the four DIMMs delivers 128GB in a single 8Rx4 rank, so the total 512GB capacity is reached without exceeding the C4140's slot count. Buyers who need higher per-slot density or who must populate every available slot with the maximum supported module size should verify the platform's qualified vendor list before purchasing.
