The Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 combines a 14.0 inch multi-touch display with MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certification. An Intel Core i5-5300U processor running at 2.3 GHz handles office applications and specialised field software. Integrated GPS, a smartcard reader and a fingerprint sensor support secure mobile workflows. A digitiser pen is included for precise input on the 1920 x 1080 screen.

1 TB SSD and 8 GB RAM with 16 GB ceiling

The 1 TB solid-state drive provides ample space for operating system images, local databases and offline maps. Eight gigabytes of memory run Windows 10 Pro and typical productivity suites comfortably. The system supports a maximum of 16 GB, so memory-intensive virtualisation or large dataset processing will hit a limit. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 covers 2D tasks but is not suited to 3D rendering or modern gaming.

MIL-STD-810G and IP65 chassis with Fischer USB

The magnesium-alloy frame meets MIL-STD-810G shock, vibration and temperature standards plus IP65 dust and water resistance. A rugged Fischer USB port survives repeated mating cycles in harsh environments. Four standard USB ports, gigabit LAN, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 cover peripheral and network needs. The included AC adapter powers the unit and charges the battery for continuous deployment.
